Antonina (Tonya) Volodina is a young Russian singer, dancer, and TV personality. She is a former member of the vocal group 4 Kadra [4 Frames], with whom she was a finalist in the New Wave Junior 2014, but also performs solo and with other performers. She has taken part in many singing and dance competitions, often winning, most notably winning season 2 of the Russian TV talent show Bitva Talantov [The Battle Of Talents] in 2018, and is such a born dancer that she seems to be unable to stay still whenever music is playing, and she always adds her own steps to the routines whenever she is singing.
Me Too was originally released by Meghan Trainor on her 2016 album Thank You and as a single. It is a bold statement of self-love and self-empowerment. This is an excellent rendition from Tonya, who clearly has the self-confidence to bring off this song without sounding arrogant nor conceited, having made minor changes to the lyrics to make the song more appropriate for her age. As is usual for Tonya, she gives a total performance, not only excellent singing, but also dancing in her own unique style that looks totally natural for her, and she also gives some absolutely classic facial expressions. This performance is from the final of season 2 of the Russian TV talent show Bitva Talantov [The Battle Of Talents], which she won, and Tonya clearly impress everyone in the studio, in the full video of the clip you can see the mood of the audience lift as Tonya just enters the stage and raise again when she starts singing, being blown away by her initial scream. And this video ends perfectly with Philipp Kirkorov, one of the judges for the final who has also performed with Tonya previously, blowing her a 2-handed kiss.
