Okhota Na Volkov [Hunting For Wolves] was originally released by Vladimir Vysotsky in 1968. It is an allegorical story about a wolf hunt, from the viewpoint of the wolf, to comment on the Soviet system where the people are the noble predator and the authorities are the huntsmen. It is strong anthem to freedom that is as relevant to today as when it was written and Yaroslava does an excellent job of expressing the strong emotions of the song, with a live band behind her, giving an inspirational performance that would have any listener gladly following her into protest or battle. This video is from the opening of the TonAtlEnOmer3 studio at the Ostankino Technical Center, for TV production, in Moscow, Russia.
