Justice League Tribute is the latest video from The Indian Jam Project. It is an arrangement of themes from Justice League movies, with Indian elements, played on Indian instruments. It is, as usual, an amazing mix of Indian and Western music. The video was shot in the Asalpha slum in Mumbai, India and follows Batman, played by Mahesh, as he runs around the neighbourhood and meets up with: Aquaman, played by Akshay; Flash, played by Nirmit; Superman, played by Akshay; and finally Wonder Woman, played by Chaitali. The musicians on this track are: Tushar Lall on electric guitar; Sri Prasad Rahane on sitar; Avadhoot Phadke on flute; Shri Sandip Mishra on sarangi; Shri Datta Ji on sarangi; and Sri Sandesh on dhol tasha.
While recording this video, and meeting the kids of the Asalpha area, and seeing the schools near the area the members of The Indian Jam Project decided to raise funds to pay the education fees of children in the area. Tushar gives a short speech about the fundraising project at the end of the video. You can donate to the fund at the website here, and Tushar will also post updates on the campaign on his Facebook page here.
