Land Down Under was originally released by Men at Work, as Down Under, as the b-side of a single in 1980 and then was rerecorded and released on their 1981 album Business As Usual and as a single. It tells the story of Australians traveling abroad and having positive encounters with people due to being Australian; it was originally intended as a warning about losing Australian culture but has now become a popular patriotic song in Australia. This is an incredible rendition of the song that is distinctly different to the original with Camryn playing a percussive guitar backing, not only drumming on the body but also using a drumming action on the strings. I have been waiting for a video of Camryn performing this song since I first heard her play it live, we had a short delay before the song for her to retune the guitar but that wait was well worth it, as it blew me away. If you ever get the chance to see Cammy perform this live, jump at the chance because it is even more incredible live.
You can follow Camryn on her website, on Facebook, on Twitter and on her YouTube channel. You can buy her music on iTunes.
