A Tale They Won’t Believe was originally released on the 1989 album The Big Don’t Argue. It is based on a true story about a real prison escape in Tasmania, Australia where a group of convicts escaped from Macquarie Harbour Penal Colony, ran out of food and then resorted to cannibalism one member at a time, with Alexander Pearce being the only survivor (You can read the Wikipedia article here).
