It is true that these kids gather a lot of attention due to the novelty factor of a young girl with such a powerful, screaming voice but anything more than a cursory viewing makes it clear that Aaralyn has something special and that, if she is allowed to develop artistically, she will become a very special talent in the future.
Dog Poop is the final track on their debut EP, Broken Crayons. It is a song about the perils of playing outside and is an excellent example of the 2 sides of Aaralyn. It starts with Aaralyn singing the first verse in a cutesy, little-girl way to be followed by the second verse sung in a voice to rival the possessing demon in The Exorcist. This pattern is then repeated for the third and fourth verses. But, make no mistake, Aaralyn is not possessed – the Devil himself wouldn’t mess with this little girl.
This video was shot while Aaralyn recorded the vocal track that was released on the EP. At the end of the video you can hear her ask “Was that Awesome or what?” and Yes, Aaralyn, that was Awesome.
