Time for some comedy.
Jay Foreman is a singer, songwriter, musician, and YouTuber from the United Kingdom. He started his YouTube channel in 2006 but didn't start to become active until about 4 years later. He makes: disgusting songs for kids; songs not for kids; very silly educational videos about London's unfinished infrastructure, about weird, funny, and interesting maps, and about British politics; and various other things.
Pretend You’re Happy was originally released on YouTube in 2017. It is a parody of the songs that tell you to act like you are happy or brave when you are really sad or scared by being even more depressing in the verses and more cynical in the chorus. During the verses Jay pushes the envelope past the usual war, famine, pestilence, crime, personal tragedy, to the ultimate extreme of reality TV and then, in the chorus, he cynically advises that you should just pretend to be happy as nobody will know and people will want you around, either that or just keep quiet.
You can follow Jay on his Official Website, on Twitter, and on his YouTube channel.
