Back in the U.S.S.R. was originally released by The Beatles on their 1968 album The Beatles (known as The White Album). It is about the singer being happy about returning the the USSR and sings the praise of girls from various regions of the USSR. This is a great rendition of the song from these Russian kids, it is an a cappella version with only simple percussion behind the voices. The lead vocals are taken by the group Kolibri [Hummingbird] and Solnechnyy Udar [Sunstroke] and they are supported by the dance troupe Zhir-Ptitsa [Firebird]. The members of Kolibri are the young singers: Ksenia Ivashchenko; Anya Lomakina; Ksenia Fedotova; Anya Saulich; Kanykey Ashirbaeva; Sonia Ioanidi; and Vasilisa Kavantseva. The members of Solnechnyy Udar are the young singers Denis Bakin, Kirill Vilkust, Lev Larkovich, and Viktor Filonovich.
