Masha i Medved' (Masha and the Bear) is the most popular children's animated TV series. It tells the story of Masha, a young girl with boundless energy who has to try everything with the greatest gusto, and the Bear, a retired circus performer. Each episode is centered around Masha exploring her world in her full-on reckless manner and Bear doing his best to protect her from disaster but usually ending up as the unintended victim of Masha's activities.
Alfavit Dlya Malyshey [Alphabet Song] is a popular method of teaching young children the Alphabet. This version uses the Russian Cyrillic alphabet, in order, sung to the tune of the popular US song that is also known as The A.B.C., and has been transported around the World by the US TV show Sesame Street. In the video the Wolves are having difficulty learning to read and can’t even understand the alphabet until Masha helps by singing this song.
