Candyman was originally released by Christina Aguilera on her 2006 album Back To Basics and as a single the following year. It is about going on a date with a man that the singer finds very attractive. It is a jazzy swing influenced pop song that is clearly influenced by The Andrews Sisters‘ 1941 song Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. The Mega Moxy girls have taken the song and given it their own personal twist and they have changed the lyrics, removing the more blatant sexual and alcohol references, to make the song more suitable for their age and improving the song. They do an excellent job of singing this song in a retro style while keeping it relevant for modern audiences. The video was recorded at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison, Texas, USA, with the girls dressed in various 1940s style clothing with make-up and hair to match.
