Dancing On My Own was originally released by Robyn on her 2010 album Body Talk Pt. 1 and as a single, though this version is based on the one released by Calum Scott on his 2016 album Only Human and as a single. It is about a woman who is dancing on her own in a club, watching, from a corner, her ex-lover with another woman and wishing that they were still together. This is an excellent rendition of the song by Federica that is both more melodic and more emotional than the previous versions. Federica makes this song her own and really draws out the pathos of the situation, listening to her sing you can hear the heartbreak and loneliness inherent in this tragic situation. Federica is superbly accompanied by Emma Bondin playing beautifully expressive piano and together they give a masterful performance.
