GFriend – Bam [Time For The Moon Night]

GFriend are a South Korean, all girl, vocal group. The were formed in 2015 and achieved international fame shortly after when a video went viral of them performing on a slippery stage and completing the song despite falling over several times. The members of the group are: Sowon (real name Kim So-jung); Yerin (real name Jung Ye-rin); Eunha (real name Jung Eun-bi); Yuju (real name Choi Yu-na); SinB (real name Hwang Eun-bi); and Umji (real name Kim Ye-won).

 

Bam [lit.: Night Eng. title:Time For The Moon Night] is the title track from the new EP Time for the Moon Night. It is a love song to a lover who is far away and the singer is is feeling lonely and unsure but still deeply in love and will dream about their beloved tonight. it displays more complex emotions than your typical k-pop song, but it still keeps the bright, bouncy beat, that is easy to dance to, and excellent vocals spread amongst each of the girls.
