Seven Nation Army was originally released by The White Stripes on their 2003 album Elephant and as a single. It is about becoming famous and having everyone gossip about you. This is an incredible version from Breeze where she takes the song and makes it her own by giving it a New Orleans Jazz backing and soulful bluesey vocals. It has such an authentic backwater feel that if you close your eyes you are transported to a smokey back-country speakeasy in the early days of jazz and blues, before they had fully separated. Breeze‘s husky voice gives the early female blues and jazz singers a run for their money and so perfectly suits this song that it makes the original sound like a cover of this version.
