Mononucleosis is the new video from Anna and the Group. It is about the dreaded Kissing Disease, mononucleosis, about being with someone who has the disease, and trying to make sure that you don’t get infected. It is a beautiful piece of modern jazz with a fun light take on an unfortunate situation told in an amusing way. Even though the lyrics are light the music is both technically outstanding as well as thoroughly entertaining, even if your not a jazz fan. On this track the Group consists of: Anna on harp and vocals; Zach Yaholkovsky on vocals; Aaron Dutton on soprano saxophone; Garrett Wingfield on tenor saxophone; Ethan Stalbaum on electric guitar; Gregory Santa Croce on piano; Aaron Holthus on electric bass; and John Sturino on drums.
Mononucleosis will be included on the Anna Jalkéus Group‘s debut album Estrogenia that is currently being funded on Kickstarter, follow the link below to pledge to get a copy when it is released, and lots of other fun rewards for helping to fund the album.
