El Patito [The Little Duck] is a parody of the 2017 single Despacito [Slowly] by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee. In this version it is about Ernie‘s deep friendship with his Rubber Duck, and how they are always together, not only in the bath. This is the second song that Ernie has sung to his Rubber Duck that has been called El Patito but the earlier song, from 1974, was a translation into Spanish of his signature song Rubber Duckie. In this video Ernie is accompanied by Rosita, la Monstrua de las Cuevas [Rosita, the Monster of the Caves] and gets some deadpan injections from Bert, that will have you smiling if not laughing out loud.
