Oy Kanada is the new single from Protokult. It is their idiosyncratic tribute to Canada for the 150 year celebrations, a raucous drinking song, and a challenge to the USA to join the celebrations and pour some pints of Canadian beer (which is better than theirs). It is a head banging anthem to drinking Canadian beer with insertions from various folk traditions and a catchy chorus that will have you singing the praises of Canadian beer for the rest of the day. The video is great fun with influences from as many disparate sources as the music has and a lot of beer drinking. Oh, and did I mention that Canadian beer seems to have some interest to the band.
