HIM Trilogy consists of the first 3 singles from Rose‘s 2016 album Onto the Floor. The three songs, which appear consecutively on the album, with their video clips form a trilogy that tells a single story about a relationship with romance, betrayal and the music industry that is based on real events in Rose‘s past. The songs are: Away I Go which tells of the betrayal; Six Feet Under which covers the response to the betrayal; and Empty which covers the start of recovery, wanting to get back to excitement while still feeling Empty, but still having a punk attitude. Individually these three songs are great but when combined together to tell a coherent story makes them even greater. Each song has music from a different genre, to back up the different emotions of the different parts of the story. The three videos also tell the same story with a visual imagery with common themes and symbols through all 3 films, it would be interesting to see all the video mixed together as a single movie with the credits moved to the end.
