Trickle is the new single from Denai and will be included on her upcoming album We Used To Bloom. It is about anxiety and how it trickles into you, finding the hidden corners that others never see, growing stranger, and trying not to see too much in the little things. After a 2 year break since her last original release Denai is back with this haunting track about what it feels like to suffer with anxiety with he unique voice and her great ability to express complex emotions perfectly in her lyrics and melody. It starts calmly, with an almost happy tune and soft vocals that slowly draw you in as the intensity builds until you are completely in the songs grip. Denai‘s voice is so musically beautiful that on first listening you fail to notice the short a cappella sections because the music of her voice is complete. The song is accompanied by a video that is surreally symbolic, defying direct analysis but complimenting the emotion of the song perfectly. If this track is a reliable indicator of the quality of the new album, and nothing indicates otherwise, then we are in for another masterpiece from Denai.
