Requiem for a Dream is based on the soundtrack from the film Requiem for a Dream that was composed by Clint Mansell and originally performed by the Kronos Quartet. Tushar has taken themes from the soundtrack, given them his usual Indian treatment and performed the whole piece over the voice of SIRI, the iPhone app, giving the digits for 10 raised to the power of 544. This piece works incredibly well, the Minimalist structure played on Indian instruments with an Indian feel and SIRI constant repeating the digit zero providing the beat. The performers on this track are: Tashar Lall on keyboards; Sri Prasad Rahane on sitar; Sri Rupak Dhamankar on tabla; and Varsh Jain on flute.
