Broken Glass is the debut single from Christine. It is about the end of a relationship where the singer’s heart has been broken but she must walk down the road as though everything is fine. It is a great pop song that shows a poetic disregard for the rules of English grammar and syntax, yet expresses it’s meaning perfectly. It is a slow pop song with a feel that is closer to the brave face part of the message and doesn’t fall into the trap of being melancholy, you can even hear a tint of hope in Christine‘s voice as she sing the song, she may be down but she will be back.
Here is an acoustic version of the song with just a guitar, played by Shota Putkaradze, and Christine‘s voice. It is a brighter version from both the guitar and the vocals.
