The Gregory Brothers – (He Came in Like a) Santa Claus

The Gregory Brothers (who also perform as schmoyoho) are a group of musicians and comedians. based in the USA. They are best known for producing the Songify The News, formally Auto-Tune The News, series of videos on YouTube but also produce their own serious music. They have taken on the mission of turning the whole universe into song, not being able to achieve this in a single blow they have started by taking excerpts from news, and similar, broadcasts, pushing it through an auto-tune machine and making the result into a song for their schmoyoho video channel. The band consists of: Andrew Rose Gregory on guitar and vocals; Evan Gregory on keyboards and vocals; Sarah Fullen Gregory on bass and vocals; and Michael Gregory on drums and vocals. Of course Sarah wasn't born a Gregory brother, she only achieved that status on marrying Evan.

 

(He Came in Like a) Santa Claus is sung to the tune of Wrecking Ball that was originally released by Miley Cyrus on her 2013 album Bangerz and as a single. It tells the simple story of a visit from Santa Claus on Christmas Day, with a simple arrangement of guitar, ukulele, drums and 3 voices, producing a delightful seasonal ditty that is easy to sing along to.
