My Favorite Things was originally from the 1959 musical The Sound of Music where it was originally sang by Mary Martin and Patricia Neway on Broadway and by Julie Andrews in the 1965 movie version. It is about dealing with bad situations by remembering all the good things that you like. Brooke has based this version on the 2013 Kelly Clarkson version, though she has added so much of her own personal style that it sounds like an original interpretation of the song that is impossible to mistake for anyone else. The simple video holds your attention due to Brooke’s mesmerising face, though her air-piano seems to be a little too high.
