I (Who Have Nothing) was originally released as a single by Ben E. King in 1963 and included on his 1964 album Young Boy Blues, it is based on the Italian song Uno Dei Tanti (One of Many). It is sung to the object of the singers affection, who is seeing someone who is rich and can easily impress them with gifts and good time. In this version Veronica sings the song with a simple electronic piano accompaniment from Paul Giordimaina. It is a beautifully executed version that shows Ver can sing beautiful melodies to the same perfection as she sings anything else and she makes you feel her anguish as she pleads wit the one she loves, the only thing that isn’t believable about this performance is that anyone would choose money before that incredible voice.
You can follow Veronica on Facebook, on her sister's YouTube channel, and on her own YouTube channel. You can buy her recording for the Italian TV talent show Io Canto on iTunes.
