Khe Sanh is the first single from Cold Chisel and, while it was not a big hit anywhere but their native Adelaide due to a radio ban because of “sex and drug references,” it has become the band’s most popular song. It tells the story of a Vietnam veteran and his unsuccessful return to civilian life in Australia after the Vietnam war. The video here is the lyric version that was created to be shown on the backdrop screens for live shows during the 2011 Light the Nitro tour.
